Arkansas Sheep Producers Inc.
Helping sheep farming grow and thrive in Arkansas.
At Arkansas Sheep Producers Inc. we take pride in helping farmers in Arkansas both improve their operation and their business.
We first purchased sheep in 2015 when we were looking to diversify our farm. We started raising beef cattle in 2001 and were looking for additional ways to utilize our land. After researching options we decided that adding small ruminants such as sheep and goats would help us optimize our acreage.
Our success has inspired us to look beyond our own farm and help our fellow Arkansas farmers diversify and grow their operations as well. We feel the sheep market has been overlooked for too long. Too many farmers in Arkansas have gone out of business due to a lack of resources required to run a sufficient amount of cattle. But we know from experience that increasing cattle numbers is not the only solution.
We’re passionate about growing the sheep industry and creating better opportunities for everyone involved. Our goal is to build stronger markets, support producers, and educate others about the benefits of sheep. By sharing knowledge and advocating for the industry, we’re helping sheep farming grow and thrive.
We are here to help you. Give us a call to get set up with a consultant and get your operation off and running.
